Bower House Studio is a private teaching studio offering one-to-one guitar lessons in a relaxed and supportive environment. The following policies are intended to ensure lessons run smoothly and clearly explain how lessons are managed at Bower House Studio.
1. Lesson Times
Each student has an agreed regular weekly lesson time reserved specifically for them.
Lesson times may commence at any point throughout the teaching year, subject to availability.
2. Lesson Payments
ADULT STUDENTS
All adult lessons are paid via a recurring four-weekly PayPal subscription.
A subscription reserves your regular weekly lesson time and continues until cancelled.
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.
SCHOOL-AGE STUDENTS
Lessons for students aged 8–18 are invoiced by school term, in alignment with New South Wales public school term dates.
Invoices are issued in advance of each term and are payable via PayPal.
3. School Holidays
Lessons are scheduled in alignment with New South Wales public school term dates.
Families wishing to continue lessons during New South Wales public school holidays are welcome to do so by arrangement.
4. Lesson Absences and Make-Up Lessons
Missed lessons cannot normally be credited or rescheduled when a student is unable to attend, regardless of the amount of notice given.
If I am unable to teach due to illness or emergency, the affected lesson may either be rescheduled by mutual agreement or credited to the student's account.
5. Attendance and Punctuality
Lessons begin and finish at their scheduled times.
Lessons cannot normally be extended when a student arrives late.
Regular attendance, together with consistent practice between lessons, provides the best opportunity for steady musical progress.

By enrolling at Bower House Studio, students and parents acknowledge and accept these Studio Policies.
