​One-to-one guitar lessons designed to help children develop musical skills, confidence and independence in a supportive environment.
  • Children of all abilities, aspirations and musical backgrounds are welcome.
  • I specialise in beginners, AMEB exam preparation and students with learning challenges.
  • Lessons are taught one-on-one, with parents encouraged to attend and observe.
  • My fully equipped, spacious and light-filled studio is located at 39 O’Briens Road, Port Macquarie.
  • Enrolment dates for school-age students follow N.S.W. school terms.
  • Lessons may continue during school holidays by arrangement.

Child Guitar Pathways

  • Foundations
45 minute weekly lessons during NSW school terms · Ages 8–18
Confidence, enjoyment, technique and musical understanding.
$55 per lesson

  • Individual Pathway
60 minute weekly lessons during NSW school terms · Ages 8–18
Advanced students or students requiring additional support: bespoke pacing, deeper focus or a supportive approach tailored to individual learning needs, including neurodivergent students.
$75 per lesson

Payment Structure
Lessons for students aged 8–18 at Bower House Studio are invoiced by school term, in alignment with New South Wales public school term dates. Invoices are issued in advance of each term and are payable via PayPal using your preferred payment method at checkout. ​

For all students
Lessons may continue during school holidays by arrangement.
Lesson fees include all learning materials provided by Bower House Studio.
Students have opportunities to develop performance confidence through Bower House Studio concerts.
Your child's first introductory lesson is free.​

About your teacher

Damon Winter is a patient, qualified and highly experienced music teacher with over 30 years of teaching across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar performance and specialises in helping students develop skills, confidence and enjoyment through music.
